- Marketing analyst and graphic designer
- Problem
- Loan officers needed timely mortgage materials with complete, legible disclosures.
- Outcome
- Reusable social and print layouts gave branches ready-to-use, compliance-aware content.
Loan officers at a mortgage lender with branches in several regions need to post something the day rates move. None of them are designers.
Every piece carries licensing numbers and disclosure copy, so the disclosure is a layout constraint from the start. If it has no space in the composition, someone shrinks it to six point.
I built templates around that: a fixed disclosure zone, a fixed type hierarchy, and a headline slot sized for the longest realistic line. A Fed rate change became a post in twenty minutes instead of a request ticket.
Print followed the same rules. Magazine and co-branded placements carry full compliance copy, with the fine print in its own quiet corner so the ad doesn’t read like a legal notice.
Four years across social, print, email and merch. I measured success by one question: could a loan officer use a piece without calling me?
